Lines of Ink

I'm amazed and flabbergasted that some lines of ink on paper can create such magic as this image does, by Maurice Day. Flabbergasted.

Thealette stepped farther into the dark street, and hurried along it to the royal gate of the city wall.

i feel the same way when i look at Wrightson's Frankenstein illos or practically any ink work by Frazetta. my mind boggles!

A lovely page and I definitely agree with Artman on Wrightson's Frankenstein. I've never actually read Frankenstein but I've stared at Wrightson's ink on paper for hours.

same here Steve, never read it. i actually didnt have my own copy of that book until about 2 months ago! but i'm kinda glad i waited because of the nice Harcover edition now available.
